Fake FB profile

Words are being sent around telling that what I wrote on the topic "Tears rolled down ...." was a fake. I published the messages that saying it is a fake as well.

Yes, many would shed tears even if we read short stories or novel. I wouldn't know the truth, and I'm not going to search for that truth, whether it is a fake or real, until a more official announcement is made.

What is important, is how the relationship develops, being good friends, show appreciations, no bickerings, and all that.

We miss that in the real world, at least.

I leave the matters to you readers. If you think it is a fake, then take it as a big story book. It is not a matter of faith.

Thanks.

I must admit, tears rolled down my cheeks . . .

Following is a short experience that touches my heart, probably for a long time to come. Being an active facebook user, Alia's comments did cross my page a number of times, but never do I give any attention. For me, they were just usual chit-chatting among friends. Alia was so secretive about her pains that only very few people knew about it. Her vibrant sincerity, which I gathered after reading her last note, would be missed even by those people who never cross her life. Yours truly included. Tears rolled down my cheeks in the afternoon, when I first read the note, and moments before solat maghrib, while checking my FB, with a heavy heart to know about her development. To my dismay, she was destined to leave this life sooner than expected, at least by me. I can sense the unbelievable feelings around the globe surrounding her departure. To all her friends, I dedicate this writing for you, to her family, my condolence, and for Alia, may you rest in peace. To Allah, please forgive her.

NOTE: Alia's FB page was deactivated @4.00am Jan 28, at her family's request.

Alia Fareena Mohammad's Notes

My Last Note to all my friends.

Today (January 27, 09) at 12:38pm
Teman-temanku..

Simpanlah jadikan kenangan terindah kalian. Kalau Lia ok, aka nada nota yang lain. Hehehe..

Lia terlalu sayang korang semua. Lia pun tak sangka belum sampai 2 bulan Lia join, kawan-kawan Lia dah nak dekat 900 orang. Memang Lia taknak cerita tentang cancer Lia sebelum ni.

YAZRINE – you will always be my invisible love. Tuhan jew yang tahu hati ini.
NORMAN – I hope you’ve gained your strength and self-esteem by now. Let it be our fairytale story. I know u are strong enough to face the world again.
ADDHA – Lia nak mintak maaf dengan abg. 10 jari lia susun. Maafkan Lia.
AQIM – Jagalah dirimu bebaik k. Lia tau Aqim kuat.
TAKAYUKI – Pa, maafkan Ma sebab hubungan kita terputus. Ma nak Pa kuatkan semangat. Study hard k. Ma kenal Pa sebelum Ma joined FB lagi. Ma tau Pa kuat.
EB – Lia ada email EB on the girl yang minat kat EB tu. Dia lawa dan baik and I’m sure she will be able to rock your world too.
*wink*
TAARIQ – Lia doakan you akan jumpa your true love one day. She’s out there somewhere.
Terima kasih abg.
FAIZAL – Simpanlah rahsia saya bebaik. Saya percayakan awak.
AIDIT – Terima kasih atas nasihat awak. Terima kasih dgn semua message awak pagi-pagi. Buat lagu yang lagi power lepas nie. Another ‘Ku Menunggu’ ok?
MKAA – The blog you made just for me with the password of ALIA really made me cry so bad. Never in my life I thought someone is willing to do that for me. I didn’t know. Seriously I didn't know. Why didn’t u tell me??????? I’m very sorry for the way I have treated you all this while. Maafkan saya. Awak, tolong maafkan saya!!
EKIN – Kuatkan semangat k syg! Lia tau Ekin kuat. Lia harap Ekin ingat semua pesan Lia. Satu hari nanti, Ekin akan bahagia. Ekin terlalu comel dan baik.
AZIAH – I doakan u sampai ke jinjang pelamin. Itu doa I selalu. Andai kata ditakdirkan Tuhan tiada jodoh, kuatkan semangat. I know you’re a strong girl. Cari yg gelaps cepat!
KAK LISS – One day you’ll find someone special that would love you as much as you love him. You will always be my guardian angel.
FEE – Saya sayang awak dan ramai yg sayang awak jugak. Awak tetap akan jadi my favorite guy. Jaga diri bebaik. Jangan tinggal solat.
IRWAN – Kalau sy xde umur, sy xnak jumpa awak kat Hell tau.. Sy nak awak jd HeavenBoy pulak… *wink*
TFCH – Check your inbox.
ABG MIZAN – I will miss all your morning messages.
PANDA BEAR – I will miss all the ‘pokings’.

Banyak lagi nama yang Lia nak mention tapi Lia tak mampu. Semua orang Lia sayang. Semua orang Lia amek berat. Tapi Lia hanya buat mana yg termampu. Kepada sesiapa yg pernah kecil hati dgn Lia, tolong maafkan Lia yer. Lia insan biasa jew. Lia bukan Nabi. Lia buat silap. Jadi mana yg pernah Lia buat silap, Lia memohon maaf dari semua. Doa korang semua, hanya Allah yang mampu balas. Selepas Lia joined FB on 5th of Dec 2008, Lia rasa happy sgt. Lia ramai jumpa kawan baru. Ada yg jadi kakak Lia, abang Lia, kawan baik Lia, adik Lia. Semua Lia sayang. Kalau mampu, Lia nak beri semua orang hati Lia. Tapi Lia jauhkan diri atas kebaikan korang jugak. Lia tau yg Lia tak boleh janjikan apa-apa. Lia tau yg umur Lia mungkin tak panjang. Maafkan Lia sayang. Buat semua, kehadiran korang semua cukup bermakna buat Lia. Kesudian korang add Lia amat Lia hargai. Kalau ada jodoh, ada umur panjang, InsyaAllah kita jumpa kat sini lagi. Kalau umur Lia tak panjang, semua jaga diri bebaik. Jangan lupakan Lia. Lia sentiasa ada di hati korang semua. Akhir kata, assalamualaikum semua.

Ikhlas,
Tengku Puteri Alia Fareenah binti Tengku Raja Mohammad Majid Shah.

I never know you before this. But this FB news came to my page just now with the message "selamat tinggal semua". Please delete that phrase .... Be strong. Expect the positive. Allah is with the ones who believe in Him. May Allah help you. We know of cancer patients who are still living and active. Please cling to that positive hope.
Thanks.

Helpless Lawmen

I received an email from a friend relating his encounter with a group of youngsters- I don't like to brand them, but identify I must - called Mat Rempits.

"Mat dan Minah Rempit di pantai barat xtakut kat polis pun!! Depa ni layak jaga masa PRK saja, nak hambat yang merempit? Payah, nak cegah rempit, toksah cakap la. Pernah satu pagi raya qurban lalu lebih kurang kul 3 pagi aku pi Stesen K/api Tepen ambik anak dia balik naik keretapi dari KL aku balik dulu sekeluarga ngan kereta sehari sebelumnya, sampai simpang jln Kamunting/Kg.Jana (kg mak metua Wak Khair Toyo kita) aku nampak banyak sangat orang berkumpul atas jalan aku ingat ada kemalangan rupanya depa anak-anak muda atas motosikal dok tengok mat rempit berlumba, aku tepon balai polis Kamu(xxxx) apa depa jawab, "kami xleh buat apa dah, kalau pi depa balin batu, aku kata kalau aku tulih kat TS Musa Hassan mintak tulun FRU atau PGA kepong mat rempit ni apa macam? Depa kata stuju dan kami akan sokong cadangan tuan tu....sampai macam tu sedih sungguh aku dengak!"

If the empowered people, with the backings of the enforcement laws, are feeling helpless, what we, the people on the street can do about it?

Homework

My son, year two, was given a task to write numbers from 1 to 1000 over the weekend, in his exercise book and need to submit it today, Monday morning.

1. I do not understand the zealousness of the teacher.
2. I do not know what is the purpose of that homework.
3. I'm sure there was no challenge to drive new interest in the boy. He knows it so well about counting and writing the numbers. Year two. Why 1 to 1000?
4. I do not know if the teacher knows the meaning of boredom that s/he was creating within the boy (and his friends).
5. Putting an excited small boy into boredom is not the objective of education.
6. Writing numbers for the sake of numbers is torturing. Has that teacher write the numbers him/herself, for the sake of writing the numbers only? How does s/he feels?
7. I'm sure there was little knowledge gained from that exercise.
8. I'm sure the fun of the weekend was robbed from my son.
9. I'm sure if the homework involved some creativity, then some exitement may drive my son to do his homework.
10. I hope all the teachers learn that homework for the sake of homework is of little use. Let homework be for the purpose of learning.
11. I hope teachers learn not to kill the zeal of learning in children.

Sharing 1

I'm forwarding a posting on Facebook, hoping to share similar situations with other people.

hmm.. terima kasih. umpama dah hilang kata2 bila bicara soal kerjaya malah mungkin soal hidup. seolah2 boleh nampak character dalam japanese anime saying "haihhh susahnya!", sambil jatuh terduduk, bahu, kepala tertunduk.. mata menatap tanah.. tangan tergenggam tapi terlalu susah untuk menarik kaki untuk bangun..

This is my response:

That much? Then it is not that much compared with those in Ghaza, at least.
Well, I 'm not belittling your problem (or did I say 'challenge' in 1996?). But, in order to BEGIN the rebuilding of our life, we must first see that the problem we are facing is NOT insurmountable. So, face towards Ghaza, and you will find you are in a much more better situation. The blockades in you are just basically psychological. Get up my babe! You can win this life game, handsomely. Cut off the past with the sharpest knife from your memory by NOT rewinding it. Our mind can only focus on one thing at a time. Thus, if you focus on something you cherish, anything, for the future, then the past will be blocked out. Don't tell me you've nothing to look forward to. I'm sure you have, just that the memories are dragging you down and distract your attention to it. In Allah we trust, and he had promised, "if you go to Him walking, He will come to you running".

Decisions for 2009

Decision. We do it almost 24/7. Well, except when we sleep! And how many of us (I mean those who read this write up, I'm not asking the rest ... ) realise the importance of HOW we make decisions?

We've been learning about so many things for so long, and probably for so many times from so many people/sources. Still, learning has not much meaning unless we use the knowledge for making decisions, consciously, or subconsciously, to proceed with our life. But then, what is the odd that we don't decide rightly? We may know the implications only when something goes not according to our expectations.

Is decision making an important task? Yes, very, I believe. If we notice that we need to make conscious decisions at almost every juncture of our life, then its importance must not be underestimated. It is like a T-junction, we have to choose whether to turn left or right. Once decided and taken, the route is our life forever, and reversing may not be a cheap option.

Year 2008 is closing within hours from the time this article is published. It is a traffic junction of life, and we have to decide which way to go: straight on, left, or right, for 2009!

So, do take care to learn how to make good and positive decisions effectively.

Happy new year!

Welcome to change . . . . the Hijrah of 1430th.

Hijrah is change. And now it is 1430th year since the day Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) changed his base from Makkah to Madinah.

About two months ago, I did a small 'research' and came up with snapshots of the process of the Treaty of Hudaibiyyah. It was written in Malay, and a few pages long, hence a bit inappropriate for me to paste it here.

Probably the most important thing that I would like to highlight in sharing the 'findings' here is that, the treaty emphasised peace. The treaty was hailed as the turning point of Islamic rising to world power, and it started with peace. It was during this peaceful time that Islam spread much faster and wider than during the enmity period 13 plus 7 years before that; thirteen years in Makkah, and the first 7 years in Madinah. There were only about 1500 muslims at the time the treaty was sealed in the month of Zulkaedah, 6th year of Hijrah. The number grew to about 10,000 when the Prophet declared the Fath al-Makkah, or the conquest of Makkah about two years later.

Yes, Islam spread much faster during peace. For that, I pray for more peace for the whole year of 1430H.
